“And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”

Prophecy Unfolding Before Our Eyes
The preceding passage is one of the most famous in Bible prophecy. What needs to be noted is that the he is the little horn mentioned in Daniel 7 and 8 who rises to power and makes a pact between Israel and “the many”. The word often overlooked in English is firm or gabar in Hebrew. The King James Version renders this word as confirm in English, but it does not fit the true meaning of gabar nearly as well as firm.
Gabar: to be strong, mighty
It further means to COMPEL, FORCE
With this in mind, the passage would better read:
And HE WILL FORCE A COVENANT with the many…..
As many of you who follow our work here at Ekklesia 2520 know, we have a strong suspicion that President Donald Trump is the little horn of Daniel 7 & 8 i.e. the infamous Antichrist. Taking this clearer view of Daniel 9:27 and the forcing of the covenant, we turn to President Donald Trump’s Deal of the Century and an event that happened on Monday, February 24, 2020 in Israel; the mapping process of the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) has begun. In other words, they are moving ahead with drawing lines between the new Israeli and Palestinian states…
Is the Main Event Here
Why is this a big, or even better, a HUGE deal? Because there have been no negotiations…..with anyone……since the unveiling of the Trump plan on January 28, 2020! The mapping process of the new Israeli and Palestinian states in the West Bank has begun and nobody (aside from Israel) has even stepped toward the table yet! This is unprecedented in the whole of peace treaty negotiations going back to the early days of the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s quest for statehood! This plan may have had a delayed release, but it has already taken off without anything being signed!
Does this mean the covenant of Daniel 9 has begun? No, we do not believe that that is the case at this time. We believe this is just another step of many to come where the little horn will force his hand in the Middle East. The main event (the seven year covenant) is not quite here yet, but it is very close! Stay tuned…
