Playing Hardball; The Deal of the Century Rollout

On January 28, 2020, President Donald Trump of the United States unveiled his long delayed peace plan; The Deal of the Century also known as the Trump peace plan. Standing alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump talked up his plan as a game changer in the long running quest for peace between Israel and her belligerent neighbors. The deal was presented after having removed a major obstacle from the puzzle; Jerusalem. On December 6, 2017, Trump announced that the United States was recognizing Jerusalem as the eternal Capital of Israel. As if this wasn’t a momentous occasion on it’s own, we, the Christian prophetic community, held our collective breath in anticipation of what could lie within the coming deal that Jason Greenblatt and Jared Kushner had been charged with by President Trump. The wait is finally over and though negotiations have not even begun, implementation of aspects of the plan are in motion…

As we recently wrote about, the mapping process for the Palestinian and Israeli states in the West Bank has begun (read more here) according to the lines drawn up in the Trump peace plan. Without a single negotiation having taken place, the Israeli government at the behest of the Trump plan, began working on implementing it. They are boldly saying, we accept the plan, even if you (the Arab nations and Palestinian government) do not. It’s the equivalent of a child sticking his tongue out at someone he just got the best of! But wait, there’s more!

An Incredible Find; The Emboldened Get Bolder!

As of this writing (this literally just happened!), the Sanhedrin have petitioned the Israeli government, by filing to receive permits “that would allow priests to perform the ritual of the Pesach (Passover) sacrifice temporary altar that will be transported to the temple mount and removed immediately after the ceremony“. Yes, you read that correctly. It does not say a re-enactment as has been practiced for several years now, but a real i.e. Torah valid sacrifice! If the permits are approved, it would be the first sacrifice on the Temple Mount since the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D.! You may ask, how can they do that? The answer is simple; the Trump peace plan has made it possible!

We recently read through the whole of the Trump peace plan who’s official name is Peace to Prosperity: A Vision to Improve the Lives of the Palestinian and Israeli People. The plan is split into two parts; Part A is the Political Framework and Part B has the Economic Framework. It is in Part A that we found this unbelievable nugget of information:

Jerusalem’s holy sites should remain open and available for peaceful worshippers and tourists of all faiths. People of every faith should be permitted to pray on the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif, in a manner that is fully respectful to their religion, taking into account the times of each religion’s prayers and holidays, as well as other religious factors.

At first glance, this almost seems like nothing, especially trying to get through a lot of the other language in the document. Though we weren’t completely optimistic at the time, we were hoping this passage meant more than it seemed to be saying. Today as we write this, we have confirmed it does mean much, much more! As this article (a must read!!!) from Breaking Israeli News bears, the Trump peace plan has paved the way for the Jews to not only sacrifice once again on the Temple Mount on the threshing floor that King David purchased, but it also paves the way for the building of the Third Temple mentioned in Bible prophecy! And as stated in our article Forcing the Covenant With the Many, the Jews are going ahead as if the Trump peace plan were already signed and agreed upon. This is truly unbelievable!

By opening the Temple Mount to all faiths, Trump ingeniously took away the Palestinian’s ability to reject just the Jewish presence without now having to reject every faith….and that brings everyone (the “many”) to the table…such that the Palestinians are left holding an empty bag. They have no more political support and they have lost in the court of popular opinion

Closing Thoughts

Is The Deal of the Century the covenant with the many spoken of in Daniel 9:27? It is shaping up to be as such down to the forcing of its implementation without negotiation. For now, there is political turmoil in Israel as they are going into their third round of elections in the last eleven months. Will the Israeli government allow the Sandhedrin to bring in the removable altar and sacrifice the Pascal lamb for the first time since 70 A.D.? We wouldn’t bet against it. Stay tuned…
